2008 PROGRAM STRUCTURE

July 7th - August 21st
Mondays and Wednesdays- 12U
Tuesdays and Thursdays- 13 and older
Practice session times- 10:00 AM to Noon
Game days on Wednesdays (12U) and Thursdays (13 and up). Games begin at 12:30PM-2PM
Held at Lea Hill Park, in Auburn, located across the street from Green River C.C.
$250- one time a week workouts
$350- two times a week workouts
$100- optional six game instructional league (highly recommended)
Like ages train together (7-10, 10-12, 13-14, 14-18)
Around a 1:6 instructor to student ratio (not a cattle call- VERY SPECIFIC)
Includes T-shirt!!

PROGRAM FEATURES

Each workout day features 20 minutes of strength or speed and agility training that includes active warm up, stretching, foot speed drills, agility speed drills, body weight strength training drills, or conditioning drills.
Hitters and pitchers are separated each day of camp and work in separate areas.
Fielding specific training that includes outfielders, 1st basemen, middle and 3rd basemen, and catchers.
Train in a fast paced offensive drills gauntlet that features dry drills, tee work, soft toss, and batting practice.
This is a real major league spring training camp. Learn and experience exactly what a major league superstar goes through during his training in an MLB Organization.
Designed to teach the mental side of baseball utilizing platform training that emphasizes relaxation under pressure, focus and reaction to the baseball, increased execution using a statistical advantaged approach, and foundation building.
Optional 6 game instructional league that teaches the fine details of becoming a great baseball player.
Inter at-bat approaches, learn how to beat your opponent mentally before your beat them physically, pick apart a hitter's weaknesses within one pitch, 4 different methods to steal a base, base running instincts, reacting to the baseball, and on field positional layouts.
Speed and agility training.
Rotator cuff strengthening for those young arms.
Mechanics of how to get yourself relaxed during pressure.
Learn how to regain your confidence under any circumstance and during any slump.
Master the technique of channeling your anger and fear so they work for you.
Conquer the fear of the unknown and the "what if".
All the major league philosophies of mechanical approaches to hitting, pitching, and fielding.

USSSA State and National Qualifying Tournaments- NOW ACCEPTING ONLINE REGISTRATIONS!!!

Big League Edge will be hosting five USSSA state and national qualifying baseball tournaments for the 2008/ 2009 season. All tournaments will be run through BLE with the focus on providing the best baseball experience around.

Tournament Details and Schedule:

$450 per team (If your team trains at BLE, cost will be $400 per team)
All USSSA registered teams will receive FREE enrollment into a two hour baseball clinic ($100 value per player). All exclusive baseball clinics will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM @ the BLE Performance Baseball Training Facility, located at 1601 15^th Street NW, Auburn, WA 98001.
Featured instructors for the camp (subject to change):

Jim Parque- 6 year major league starting pitcher (1997-2004)
Quientin Poil- ex-WSU catcher and Yakima Bears coach
Larry Marshall- ex-Pacific Lutheran University head coach
Jeff Hebner- Green River Community College infielding coach
Marc Wiese- ex Royals minor leaguer and current Puyallup HS varsity head coach

Top four places get births into USSSA state, and top two places get births into Nationals. Team must compete in State to advance to nationals.
All tournaments will have the following:

Two umpires per game
3 game minimum
pitching records recorded
10U-12U: no new inning after 1hr & 50 minutes (no dead stops)
13U: no new inning after 2hr & 15 minutes (no dead stops)
Pool play ties 1/2 point, bracket play ties play out
Home team coin flip except for Championship game (high seed)
No run rule in Championship game

BLE is a 22,000 square foot indoor training facility, equipped with a fully turfed infield and 6 batting tunnels (WE DO NOT OFFER COIN OPERATED CAGES).
