| Never before have so many baseball training resources been available. The internet is cluttered with different training techniques and devices promising improvement. Coaching will determine a player’s future. The decision of who trains your son defines his athletic ability for the rest of his career. I strongly urge parents to reconsider how important these early years of a career are in properly developing for the future. Having to relearn old skills while incorporating new skills required at the next level, is a recipe for failure that has cut many careers short of their potential. However, many parents and players never realize |

mistakenly blame present coaches for their current failures.
At Big League Edge Performance Baseball™, our coaches prepare for the present AND future. The disturbing trend of training gimmicks and quick fixes that mask athletic deficiencies only prolong the inevitable.
Presently, these gimmicks and quick fixes may provide short term results that appear to be fruitful. However, when the game becomes quicker, stronger, and faster, masking athletic shortcomings will no longer suffice- resulting in reduced playing time, a revoked scholarship, or the end of a career.
The skills of tomorrow must be learned today, as these advanced techniques require years to hone. However, if one is patient and works smart in the early years of their career, the rewards are endless.
