COACHING CLINICS

COACHING CLINIC BEING TAUGHT BY JIM PARQUE

On Wednesday, January 2nd, @ 6:30 PM, Jim Parque will be teaching a coaching clinic which covers secrets that MLB managers and coaching staffs currently utilize to win championships.

Having played 6 years in the big leagues under some of the best managers in the game that includes Lou Pinella, Jerry Manual,  and Mike Hargrove, Jim Parque has gained invaluable insight and experience into what it takes to win championships at all levels of the game. This coaching clinic is his way of giving back to the baseball community, in order for area coaches to lead their teams into a championship 2008 season.

The coaching clinic is free to all, no sign up required.....just show up. Space is limited. Show up early to get in, as this is "first come, first serve". There will be a coaching manual handed out to all in attendance, wherein the information detailed in the manual has taken over a year and a half to amass, develop, and put to ink. It is one of the most comprehensive "high end" coaching manuals available....as it has been directly written from MLB Organizational Manuals that are handed to MLB coaches each spring training.

This information is NOT available to amateur baseball.

Mr. Parque will be going over, in detail, the coaching manual and will be discussing everything from "A to Z", and then some. It will last about 2 hours. Things covered:

  • Stealing and base running strategies
  • Stopping the running game
  • Outsmarting the other coach
  • Defensive, offensive, and pitching strategies
  • Setting your defense, offense, and rotation
  • How to motivate, inspire, and get the most out of your players
  • Signs- how to pick and give signs
  • How to call the proper game for your pitchers
  • 1st and 3rd plays, bunt plays, trick plays, pick off plays
  • Defensive sets
  • Hard nosed baseball and implementing it into your team
  • Coaching with the percentages to maximize your team's execution percentages
  • How to exploit the opposing team's weaknesses
  • How to put your team in a power position late in the game.....when it counts
  • Building a championship team
  • Choosing the right group of players and parents for a positive season
  • Practice plans
  • And much more
This coaching clinic will NOT discuss "technique", but will give you all you need to know to be the coach you have been wanting to be....and much more. Bring a note book, your assistant coaches, and anyone that you know whom is a coach wanting to learn how to be a major league manager.

This coaching clinic is open to the public and is free of charge. BLE hopes you take advantage of this and attend.
