With 8 national affiliates and over 500 athletes nationwide whom call themselves "United", there is no question the impact Prospect United National Teams has had on the competitive travel baseball scene.

The 2018 high school baseball season saw Prospect U athletes dominating their competition, with league and region stat leaderboards littered with Prospect United players.

"I am encouraged to see the amount of performance coming out of our athletes thus far. We worked extremely hard as an organization this off season to get our guys better, and it is paying off." Stated Prospect United Director and former MLB pitcher Jim Parque.

Thus far, 36 Prospect United athletes have earned NCAA college scholarships and commitments. This is a testament to the player development focus that started back in September 2017.

"Our main goal is to produce a contributing member to the next level, and not just a rostered athlete. Our off season training process is not for everyone, but definitely gets results that are now meeting NCAA expectations."Stated Prospect United SoCal Director Rainel Caranto.

Power, aggressive, and tools driven game performance is what defines the Prospect United athlete. Granted, all rostered players will not meet the requirements, but the focus remains upon winning through process.

"We want our guys to press every aspect of the game. Every pitch is important and every individual contributes to the winning cause. When you look at who wins the ballgame, it always comes down to who was better prepared and who executed the little things more often." Stated Parque.

Prospect United was honored to have four of its players selected to play for Team USA - beating out thousands nationally (pictured left). This is a testament to the player development process that trains hardcore baseball skills.

Prospect United National Teams 2018 States

Thus far, Prospect United has compiled an impressive start to the 2018 travel baseball season.

1346 total wins has provided an 83% winning record. A combined 2.78 ERA and .306 BA brings dominating pitching and offensive support to every game.

An impressive combined 83 tournament titles and 12 World Series berths across 42 teams is what proves success for Prospect United.

"Winning is everything, and anyone who says otherwise basically is not winning. You have to develop your athletes, but if they are not performing to the win, your development process is broken." Stated Prospect United San Antonio Director Luis Villerreal.

Three no-hitters have been thrown this season by Prospect United pitchers. Villerreal experienced firsthand how his 18U pitcher Jakub Rayfield took to training with his first no-hitter ever.

"Rayfield is physical, throws a heavy ball, and competes. He was prepared to accept the challenge, and I am very proud of what he accomplished in his no-hit bid." Stated Villerreal.

Prospect United is partnered with and powered by Under Armour Baseball. No other organization in the States has this honor - something that brings extreme opportunities to Prospect United athletes.

"Playing for a team whom is connected to a globally recognized brand sets the bar extremely high, but offers our athletes something more than just a season because the partnership goes beyond just custom uniforms." Stated Parque.

Parque went on,

"There is a higher sense of pride when you represent the official uniform provider of Major League Baseball. Our teams also receive special bids and hard-to-find invites into national events. Combine this with our twenty other partners and 100+ NCAA recruiting network, and you have a recipe for success."

NCAA recruiting is at the forefront of everything Prospect United. With 100+ NCAA baseball programs whom actively recruit Prospect United athletes, there is a high level of accountability placed upon performance.

"We are constantly showcasing and marketing our athletes. If we have something to market, we can get any NCAA coach to our game. It is just a question of whether we have something to market." Stated Prospect United Houston Director and MLB scout Brian Fisher.
